Nothing too much trouble, a great experience, would stay there again. It's a pleasant place with perfect staff and immaculate rooms. The location is marvellous, 2 km from Pollan Bay.

Despite the beautiful location, I can't say the same about my shabby room, which reminded me of it hasn't been updated since before the dinosaurs. I almost gave a good review but just couldn't.

The hotel was comfortable and in a very central location. The place was an easy walk to Ballyliffin heart of the city.

a wonderful stay with genuine hospitality and the most delicious ginger cake that will have you dreaming of more
Good experience with spacious rooms, friendly staff, and superb food options. Breakfast includes fresh fruit and freshly brewed tea.

Not much, to be honest. Sound insulation non existent. Hysterical toddler running about in room above meant no sleep until they were moved. Breakfast was astonishingly tasteless - from the coffee to the microwaved scrambled eggs. Staff pleasant enough but it's a fairly low quality establishment in a very good location with not much competition at that end of the Market.

First and foremost the friendliness of the staff and the very good meals provided at very reasonable cost. We also got a good euro rate with no commission charges when we exchanged our GBP for euros. The Hotel was very comfortable.
Hot water in the shower fluctuated greatly if anyone used water at the same time.

Location
Staff did not meet our requirements particularly at breakfast - no-one directed us to the hot food buffet which itself was very poor and no tea or toast arrived despite asking staff (tea and toast still hadn't arrived when we left the dining room). Bedrooms - need makeover and new beds and pillows.

The hotel had a range of activities, from cycling to exploring nearby attractions. The food was fantastic, and it was great to see options for everyone's dietary needs.
My kids wished for more outdoor play areas.

Staff were always very welcoming and courteous. Although the rooms were basic the location of hotel was good and the standard of food in hotel bar was excellent.
Rooms were a little outdated and stuffy.
